Jackie Romeo is a Pop/Soul songwriter and vocalist from Massapequa, NY.
During Jackie's run as a top 20 contestant on Season 25 of NBC’s “The Voice,” Romeo got the opportunity to perform her unique spin of Brandi Carlile’s hit tune “The Story.” This then led to her appearance on Canada’s wildly popular tv show En Direct De L’Univers. Jackie’s acoustic version of the song received a spot on Billboard’s Canadian Digital Sales Chart. With the release of her debut EP “Shatter,” her single “Anyway” peaked at #39 at radio on Mediabase’s activator chart.
Jackie has been seen on stages all across NYC and Long Island including the legendary Apollo, where she was an Amateur Night semi-finalist in 2022. That same summer Debbie Gibson invited Jackie to be a featured performer on her ‘The Body Remembers Tour.’ There, Jackie performed a song that was written for her by Debbie and became her debut single entitled Pretty Girls.
Jackie has been recognized for her covers a multitude of times, getting the attention of Olivia Rodrigo for her spin of the song Drivers License as well as Calum Scott with her cover of You are the Reason. For fun she makes dance videos on Tik Tok such as her I Am Your Mother dance video which received the attention of Youtube and Meghan Trainor. To date her content has amassed over 25M views across all social platforms.
Since being on "The Voice," Jackie has performed many shows in New York and Los Angeles including iHeart Radio’s ‘Dunkin Music Lounge’. She’s been interviewed on radio stations like Sirius XM Hits One where both her songs “Again” and “What Makes a Man” received spins. During a morning show interview with WBLI they surprised her with a spin of her then new song “Anyway.” Romeo has been featured in many media outlets including Newsday, Newsday TV as well as ET, Access Hollywood, NBC.com, The Music Times, American Songwriter, Entertainment Weekly, TV Line, Goldderby, CinemaBlend, Parade and News 12.
Jackie’s original music is inspired by her songwriting heroes Meghan Trainor, Kelly Clarkson, Chappell Roan and Adele.
