A native of Massapequa, New York, Romeo gained widespread recognition as a Top 20 contestant on Season 25 of NBC's The Voice, where her standout interpretation of Brandi Carlile's The Story introduced her artistry to a national audience. The performance led to an appearance on Canada's hit television series En Direct de L'Univers, while her acoustic rendition of the song earned a place on Billboard's Canadian Digital Sales Chart, marking an early international milestone.
